1. The limit switch sensors are not stopping the the machine at the x,y,z axes, causing the machine to over shoot it's physical limits.
2. The machine has also set new limit points on its own now whereas it stops about 1/5th the way up the y-axis and 3/4 to the right on the x-axis, the z-axis consistently overshoots its elevation limit.
Rebooting the machine did not help.
I have an Iconic 8, 6 days old.
I had the machine running fine yesterday.
Not happy.

Are you homing the machine each time on start up?

I press the yellow origin key, z-axis tries to raise past its physical limit, then x and y axes do the same. It's as if the machine thinks it's origin is off the table at the same time all the magnetic limit switches fail to work.

If the Iconic is anything like the Pro8+, each limit switch has a physical stop. There are 3 yellow limit switches; X, Y, and Z. Each one stops when the switch senses the limit tab (red light on). These tabs might need adjusting. The pic in this thread might help. Limit Switches

I am aware of the physical limit switches. Do you think all of them stopped working at the same time?

Mine is one day old and did this the first time i turned it on. Although mine just seems to be the X axis. I will look at the sensor and make sure it is aligned properly as i have seen this on previous posts.

I am aware of the physical limit switches. Do you think all of them stopped working at the same time? Could also be a bad ground, wiring connection, or ?? Check the simple things first. All you have to do is see if the LED lights up when you go to the limit on an axis. All you do to adjust is loosen the tab set screw and move until the light comes on, retighten.

Update- Mine is now working fine. I tested the limit switch and was fine, just adjusted the little steel tab it had gotten moved. Works perfect now.

It's as if the machine thinks it's origin is off the table at the same time all the magnetic limit switches fail to work. You said you were pressing the origin key. That's not the same as the home key. When you turn it on select the "home all" and be sure that it properly coordinates itself. Origin is the manual settings for places you have designated as a x, y, z = 0
