So I have had my A8 for well over a year now and it has been flawless. Recently the controller got dropped and damaged and became unusable. I sourced and installed the replacement without any issues. However, I did not realize the parameters for the machine setup were stored in the controller itself. So after painstakingly working through reinputting all of the machine settings into the new controller, I am back up and running. But I have missed a setting somewhere and I cannot find it on the menu. The machine is now no longer abiding by the work speed of the project as it was set up in the file but is not overriding it and going by the machine work speed set up on the controller. I am sure I am missing a setting somewhere and any help finding it would be greatly appreciated.

Axiom will send you a firmware update to restore all controller parameters and reload firmware. After that there is an option in the controller to save all parameters to a backup file.

maybe you could plug your old controller in temporarily and back up the parameters and restore it to the new one?

In the GCode setup portion of the Machine Menu....there is a parameter labeled F READ.
If that is set to IGN F...then the controller will ignore the feed rate speeds....once you find this parameter, you can use the delete button to remove the original setting and choose the READ F option.

Do you mean that with this change the controller will follow G-Code 'S' commands for spindle speed? OOOPPPPSSSS.... Feed Rate, not spindle speed... My bad.

With that change, the controller will follow the feedrate settings within the gcode....as it should be set to do from the factory.
