I have a plaque that I have designed in VCarve of an Eye Chart that I want to cut for my daughters upcoming graduation in May. I have found some white delrin that I would like to cut it out of. I have no experience in cutting delrin and am interested in getting any tips or tricks from any of you more experienced CNCers. I guess one of my biggest concerns is feeds and speeds and will it just melt or give a clean edge?

If Fean were still around, he could probably tell you exactly what to use. I haven't cut any, but I know it machines pretty good, because our machine shop at work makes stuff out of delrin all the time. It seems to be harder than UHMW, so it should make good chips instead of melt. I found this website after a quick search, and saw other posts that reflect similar speeds/feeds.
