Found video below on you tube that Haas has been implementing. I gave it a go and have had amazing success! Been taking .300 deep cuts at 100 ipm and the work stays put o no vibration!!
- Painters tape on clean surface or waste board - Painters tape applied to workpiece - Using Loctite glue the two together and let her eat! - When finished gently pull the tape off the table then remove from workpiece - Done numerous jobs with no issues

yes i have seen this also, and I am going to try it soon.... NYC CNC has good and reliable info. and tutorials. I need to engrave a small brass part for my daughter soon, and will try it on this
as far as making vac tables obsolete, well that's a lot of tape and glue and peeling and scraping. on a 24" x 48" sheet....just saying

Although this is a neat concept, and it seems to work... the idea that vac tables will be obsolete is foolish. I can use my vac table instantly, with no cleanup and no scraping. Certainly a good idea for those who don't have a vac table.

Guess I got a little over zealous....I stand corrected. Vac table I tried was not very dependable any suggestions would be appreciated, also can’t afford an elaborate system.
