We understand that not everyone is going to jump right into using the RichAuto controller for their CNC without some questions. Even those of us that are used to having a game controller in our hands, have to learn what the buttons do.
So here is your opportunity to ask all the questions you’d like about the RichAuto controller on your Axiom machine. Remember that some manufactures require that you connect a PC directly to their machines for operation. The A11 will allow you to operate your machine at the touch of a button, without the hassles associated with having to rely on a PC.
But before we get to any questions, we can help most people get started simply by stating what each button does:
Movement Controls
X (X+ for Right, X- for Left)
Y (Y+ for Back, Y- for Forward)
Z (Z+ for Up, Z- for Down)
HOME and ORIGIN Buttons:
HOME: Starts the HOME operation, using a series of Proximity Sensors.
ORIGIN/OK: This allows you to move directly to the saved ORIGIN point, and also OK the highlighted options on screen
MODE: Allows user to change manual movement type
CONTINUOUS: Moves constantly in either HIGH or LOW speed while movement control button is held down.
DIST (DISTANCE): Allows user to move a defined distance in any direction.
STEP: Moves in single set increment with each press of the direction button. There is no constant movement with this option. Useful for accuracy.
HIGH/LOW: Changes movement speeds for manual movement only
ON/OFF: Turns on the Spindle/Pump manually.
MENU: Menus and sub-menus for machine settings.
RUN/PAUSE/DELETE
RUN: Brings up the directory where the tool-path files can be found. Selecting one of these files will start the tool-path.
PAUSE: Allows user to pause a job temporarily.
BREAK: After a STOP function, the user can save the position of the machine in the tool-path operation so that it can return to where the interruption occurred.
DELETE: Used to remove data that has been entered.
STOP: Stops or cancels the machines operation.
*This button is the user’s life preserver. Know where it is and start all jobs for the first time with your finger over the button, ready to press. This will stop the machine in the case of incorrect settings or emergencies.
