I had a little free time and had been thinking about making a dining table for a couple of years. I had all the material in my shop already.

Beautiful! Nice lines, great v-carve design and use of multiple woods. Thank you for sharing.

Oops. On second look the v-carving appears to be an inlay. Am I correct?

Really nice job! I can imagine friends and family asking how much for you to make one for them! How much free time did it cost you?

It is a v-carve that has been filled with epoxy putty. I need to look into using a liquid epoxy, as I think it would be much easier.
I already knew I wouldn't be making one for someone else, so I didn't track the time. A lot of laminations and sanding went into it. The rest wasn't to bad.
