Finished up customizing the golf cart earlier in the summer - forgot to post pics until I received the Vectric newsletter today... the idea for the cart came from my boat (Pursuit DC325). I wondered if Pursuit built a golf cart what would it look like? Started with my 2014 Club Car and got a little carried away. Pretty much all of the material used was King Starboard - mostly white, some black and one piece is gray. All was done on the Axiom except for the covers where the front support tubes go into the fenders. The dash consist of 15 pcs, the "swim platform" is three pieces, there are a couple spacers between where the top support tubes land between the seats. I had made all this stuff once, then went back and did them again once I figured out how to program a radius cutter to soften the edges. Last thing I added was the Garmin GPS - we live on an island with about 3 miles of road through the marinas so we don't need it, but Walmart had them for about $80 and I thought it was just a really stupid thing to do - had to do it. A local boat customizer welded up the top and our canvas guy laced it with black Sumbrella. The steering column is from Ididit, with a marine steering wheel from Edson (modified by another shop to receive the spline on the shaft). Cup holders are from a Pursuit as are the rear armrests. - Dan

That is AWESOME! I happen to work at the Club Car factory, and we have a custom department, but they'd be challenged to match this level of customization. Great work!

The three things I was wondering about:
No AC? What about LED lighting underneath? What's it got under the hood? 454 4-barrel?

Don't need AC for a ragtop.

Thanks for all the feedback - appreciate it! Would like to go back and somehow get some angle on the gauges and GPS so I can actually see them - maybe next winter We're running 48V of pure electrons... was kinda tricky with the 12v accessories. Right now they are on the switch to the left of the dash (the Club Car has a constant 12v supply that I tapped off of), would also like to get those on a relay so they come on with the key. Traindriver - if your customizers could figure out a way to add a keyless "ignition"; i.e., a key fob and starter button, I'd name my first kid after one of them! Dan
