Been playing around making a few cuts here and there learning the software, but finally put everything together for a birthday gift for a friend.

Nice job...looks a lot better than my first cuts...(but my first cuts made for some great kindling ;-p) I was learning wood turning over the winter and kept my fireplace well stocked, so far on the cnc I have only “trimmed “ the edge off of one clamp and forgot to z zero once drilling a nice whole I a piece of wood.

Gosh, when I was starting out, it usually took 2 attempts to get a piece I was happy with. I've kept them all to remind me of all the silly mistakes that can be made. It's actually been quite a long time since I've had to throw a piece on that pile. But there is always tomorrow.
