My AR8 has been off for 4 months or so. When I started it up and entered "All Access Home" it went to the near left corner of the machine and didn't stop. Seems the controller has lost it's data maybe. Should I be re-installing the controller backup file and where do I get it? Is there a firmware update?

My first guess would be a limit switch went bad. That is what tells the CNC where to stop so I would start there. I am not sure how to test them but you could probably find out somewhere.

Thanks. I was just looking at that to see how dusty they might be but they look visually good.

Actually, none of the limit switches are working. It must be in the controller. I need to get the backup file and re-intall the data.

Email support@axiomtoolgroup.com and explain it to them and Chad will get back to you. Coming up on the weekend it might take a bit but they are pretty good about replying fairly quickly.

Did you find the problem? I found that if I turn mine on and do not wait long enough for it to completely boot up before I press the all home it does not stop. If I wait a little longer so far it seams to be fine. Knock on wood.
