I created a small project in V carve pro, saved the tool paths and used the post processor for Axiom HHC CNC mm .mmg saved them to the usb you supplied with the CNC. I can see the file when in USB from the controller, and i can save it to the SD. However i cannot get the code to display in the box and as a result nothing happens when you press start. I did go to the menu for gcode and if i select one in the drop down such as file 1 or 2 that code will show in the box which im sure it was part of testing the cnc before shipping. I feel I am missing a step somewhere / somehow even if this is so simple it seems..... I am attaching my post processing file as well as a photo of the controller with a pre installed gcode in the box window.   |

Did you do the homing routine first? Then you would set your XY coordinates to the workpiece and Z via the puck or using a manual process. Not sure what you mean that you copied the file to the SD. It looks like you have your bit a little over 5.5" high (5.875945"). Is this correct? Sorry, I'm sort of working through things. Hopefully Support will jump in here at some point.

Then went to set origin and set it. set spindle speed. then go to usb arrow down to file click run usb and the code does not show in the box (example in pic <N2OG1X1200.00Y1200) This code you see in the picture was generated from the gcode stored on the controller. when i click usb and run usb that box is empty. I wish I could just video it and show you. |

I know it's frustrating but hang in there. Also, bear with me asking questions. Not meaning to insult. You indicate that when you click on usb there is nothing there. Can you see the file that is supposed to be on the usb? You may need to check the usb with your computer to make sure the file is there. Also, be sure to use the eject usb from the computer and don't just pull it out. I get careless sometimes and just pull it out. T

The USB was supplied with the new machine, you can see the files and when you arrow to the file and click run usb there's no code in the box as shown in the photo   |

Not sure what is going on with the site. I did a quick reply about a minute ago and it's not there. Anyway, I notice that, in the video, that you press the START key rather than the ENT key when selecting the file. Would it make a difference if you pressed the ENT key first? I have the A11E pendant so things may be a bit different.

I have nothing to add, but this is the first time I've seen a close up of the new pendant. Quite a change from my A11 pendent.

That's a Hust controller. I didn't see that Axiom had a manual for it on their Elite product page. Guess you'll have to wait for assistance from Axiom Support. I'd call them in the morning.
