AR6 arrived today, took it out of the box and first thing I tried to do was put the caster wheels on. One location has all 4 holes stripped clean with no threads at all. Does anyone know the thread size of the bolts that attach the caster wheels? I'm thinking I may be able to tap them, but either way this sucks, rendering that entire leg useless. Been waiting for this for a month and a half and now I can't even assemble it.

That sucks to hear. I have an AR8 pro+ and the only issue was some powder coat in some of the threads. Have you contacted Axiom? They are great about getting back to you pretty quickly. Chad has been very helpful with the few questions I have had.

There is powder coat in all the other holes as well, which I think won't make much difference. I called and sent an email but I think everyone is gone for the day. Was so pumped to get this thing, and it kinda took the wind right out of my sails haha

That does suck, but are you planning on rolling your unit around. I've had mine for almost 2 years and it hasn't moved once.

Problem solved. 6mmx1 tap from Lowe's and we are in business. Glad there was enough left in the hole to create new threads. Also ran it through the others as there was powdercoat in there creating issues for the other bolts.

When I got my AR8 Pro a couple years ago, they were on the tail end of a problem at the factory where they were having tapping issues with the stands. I talked to Axiom, and they just gave me the okay to tap them to the next size up, and put bigger bolts in. A whole lot easier than exchanging it. Not a single issue on it after placing it in service.

Not a single issue on it after placing it in service. I was luckily able to tap it to the same size. Thinking they just never ran a tap through those holes because there was enough for me to do it. On a side note - unboxed the CNC this morning and the gantry plastic cover on the side is cracked... not having much luck these days.
