HI there,
First time on Forum. I have my Axiom Pro Series 4 set up and running. Went to cut my first board, and i had to " help " the X axis along a little bit. The spindle would not move across so i knudged it and once i did that, it started to move.
With this said, i was trying to print my signature information on the back, and it ended up just being a bunch of gobbly goop. Unreadable. The Y axis moved, as i had numerous lines of information ( name, location, date ) and it appeared to have attempted to print the 3 or 4 lines i have. However, all the letters seemed to be printing on top of each other.
Was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how to fix / adjust the X axis.
Thanks

The first thing I would check is if the coupler is tight on the x ball screw. Sounds like a mechanical issue and not software to me

It does sound like the X axis is slipping. zaxis4 has the rite idea. With the hand controller, try moving the gantry left and right and watch the coupler on the Z axis ball screw to see if it's slipping. There are some small allen screws that connect the ball screw to the motor shaft. Make sure they are good and tight and then turn the machine foo and then on again and let it re home again. If all that is working, try running your file again.
