Mantle Clock with carving

A Walnut "Skeleton" Mantle Clock. Everything was cut out on my Axiom. The edge trim was done on a router table..(much easier and faster). I used Vcarve Pro to develop the carving designs and all the cut outs. I plan on doing another in Cherry. Now that it has been programmed it will be really fast and easy  Love my Axiom!!

Love the design of the clock. Did you get the clock works from Klockit or somewhere else?

I found the clock movement at Klockit.com. The normal design is just plain with some router work on the edges. Since I have a CNC machine I decided to jazz it up a little bit with the carving. I am really liking the chip carving look. I develop those from pattern books using Illustrator and Vetric software.
