I got my problem solved with not being able to read the USB files. Use a small/older USB 2.0 stick.
I bought 3 PNY USB 2.0 8GB sticks for use with my CNC. Exactly the same SKU/Product. One stick was readable by the pendant, 2 weren't. I'm getting by with the one. I went back to Frys Electronics tonight and bought a UNIPLEX USB Flash Drive 2.0 4GB. I'll test it tomorrow.
Does anyone have a reliable brand/model USB that works reliably? Like an Amazon link? I'll get on and order a bucket full. Chad said the controller was picky about what it liked.

I have a few of those Sandisk, as well, never had a issue. But I also have some larger Pony drives, that have also been trouble free.
