We got this machine a few days ago. It is the Hobby series, suppose to be 12inx12in Manual was not up to date, we spend hours searching online, then contact Axiom, and got a more complete manual.
First of all, none of the settings were right, pulse equiv was half the number it suppose to be(2560, suppose to be 5120). table size is totally off (610x1200, suppose to be around 300x300) We spend at least two days to figure this out. Then I started to do the table leveling. Ended up having two stripes material didn't cut on the Y axis. The machine is stopped by the soft limit. Now as I'm reading from the forum, you can not change the home settings or the soft limit, that does not make any sense to me.
What if the home position is not right, there must be a way to adjust it manually. Anyone got the same problem? plz help, many thanks!

The home position is set from the factory! It insures that you will have the full travel of 12 x 12 inches. The only adjustment would be the homing switches to make sure the gantry moves all the way to the left and all the way to the front right corner of the table. My X axis was off by about 2 inches when I got it, but it is a simple adjustment to move the bracket. Just 1 small screw to move it. You will get help on this forum. Everyone here is very helpful. You can also call tech support! They will get you started.
