What is the length of the power cord? I don't think I'll need an extension, but just thought I'd check.

You will probably have about 2-3 feet from the back of the stand. I have the AR4 and I have it plugged into a 4 foot heavy duty cord that I made up so I could plug it into the wall. The cords are simply to short, but the fix is very simple.

Yea the cord is pretty short... they don't sell extensions like that here in Canada... maybe I could ship one but likely not  |

I built an extension cord. Used 12-3 power cord (Lowes or Home Depot), a NEMA 6-20R connector to connect to the machine and a 220V plug to connect to the power source. Wired up green to green (ground) and black to one brass screw and white to the other.

I definitely needed an extension cord, but not too long. Most places don't carry the correct one. I got this at Lowe's.
