Made my first attempt at v-inlay with this walnut/oak rolling tray. I used a 3/4'' Tray Bit with a 1/4'' radius for the pockets, and a 60 degree v bit for the inlay and prism. Had a little trouble with the prism chipping on some of the finer parts, but overall I think it went well. Hope ya'll enjoy! Josh PDA Woodworking pdabk

Looks good! On one of the MTMWood youtube videos, he says that he uses 30 degree bits for his v-carving, which he does for end grain cutting boards. I ordered some, but I haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet. The steeper angle may resolve chipping issues.
