This is FANTASTIC! Will your new board be called Settlers of Pecan?
Do you have a pattern to share?

This is exactly what we hoped for when creating this forum. CNC users that share advice and help each other out, and the occasionally shared project.
You guys ROCK!

Are you using the cards and pieces from a set you bought or are you making them as well?

Are you using the cards and pieces from a set you bought or are you making them as well? Yes, I was planning on making my own pieces but have not done so yet.

Did you do all that intricate painting by hand? I paint it while it's still on the machine. First I seal the board with a wood filler, this allows me to paint it and sand off the top layer without paint draping into the grain. My second step is cutting he designs, but not cutting the individual pieces yet, I use a vcarve to cut the designs. Then I paint over the tile with an acrylic paint (I group all the like tiles together to ease his process) while it's still on the machine, never moving he clamps. Next sanding, I sand down the painted areas and use an air compressor to blow out the dust from the pieces. I then apply oil or poly spending on the wood I'm using. The. I cut out the pieces using a 1/16th bit. Finally I sand them and clean them up. The numbers are the wooden nickels you get at a Michaels Ot hobby lobby, I just cut out a template that they fit snugly in, and use a small piece of double sided tape to hold them down while I use the engraving toolpath to cut the numbers. Key thing is you must stain them first. I hope this helps!

That's an unreal idea! I'm a Settler's Fan and ended up with terrible cardboard pieces that are warped out of shape. If you would still have the file and would consider sharing it would be awesome! Thanks!
