outdoor chair feet.crv3d (861 KB) I am experiencing the same issue with my Axiom AR8 pro as the following link: forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=30046I have the same issue where other rotary functions work just fine for me: Rounding toolpath works fine I am able to machine lettering on a cylinder But, when I try to wrap a pocket or profile toolpath similar to the above link it does not look anything like the Aspire preview. It looks like the issue was never addressed or resolved. Has anyone from Axiom looked into this issue?I am running Aspire 12.005 I have attached the file for reference. Andy

I called Axiom and they were able to resolve my issue. Here is the fix from Axiom technical support:
I believe the solution which was found had to do with a setting in the controller. We’ve seen a number of fluting and spiral issues similar to what you’ve described that were corrected by making this change… If you go into the MENU and select the System Setup, scroll down and find the Function Config option. You should be able to scroll through there and find a parameter that shows RT Type in the left column. Make sure that it's set to Normal instead of Nearby. If you need to change this, just highlight the line and press the RUN/PAUSE/DELETE button. Then you should be able to select the other option. Highlight the normal option and press OK…. Press OK again to save the setting and the controller should show a message that indicates some settings in the configuration have changed, and will require that the machine is restarted to resume normal operation. After restarting…go ahead and complete the All Axes HOME operation and then re-try the rotary function.
