Enter a negative speed.
I'm assuming you have or will have left-handed tooling. I've seen people look at a downcut spiral and assume it was for left-handed (counter-clockwise rotation) cutting.

I have also found that the M4 code does not work. looking at doing the same tool changer Mod. Does the controller support CCW spindle rotation

The easiest way would be to modify the g-code file. If you open it in a text editor and look through the lines you'll see something like: M3 S18000 F150 That means turn the spindle on CW (M3), set the speed to 18000 rpm, and the feed rate at 150 inches per minute. Change M3 to M4 and save the file in the original format you opened it. You don't want a file with at .txt extension. Notepad++ is a great text editor for things like this. You might also want to slow down the speed because it has to be slow for that tool changer to work.

Thank you for the response.
I have found that my router is not set up for CCW (m4). The M4 code was not enabled in UCCNC also there is no wiring to the VFD to turn the spindle in reverse. i will need to add a relay to trigger reverse on the spindle as well as enable reverse setting in the VFD settings.
bit of work ahead. once i have this done the rapid change tool changed should be able to be fitted.
