When moving the spindle to center the work, the Y and Z axis move at a good speed (normal), but the x-axis only moves at a micro speed; Like i was fine tuning the location of the spindle. I have it set on continuous mode and can toggle the y axis to slow or fast, but the X-Axis will only move slowly. Takes forever to get it in the center of a workpiece. It doesn't matter if I enter a location. It will move to that location, but at the same slow speed. At least I don't have to stand there and hold the button with that.

Glynn Hi Glynn, Welcome to the forums. Is it possible that you unintentionally changed the travel speed on that axis while messing with the controller? I don't remember exactly how to do it, but I know it can be done. Considering this is your first post, you may be a new owner - did the machine arrive in this state? -or was it working as expected and then suddenly changed behavior?

I have had the unit for several years. Got it from my dad. All axis’s have worked great until now. I suspect that I inadvertently change a setting and looking a step by step to get it back to normal.
thanks for any help
