Greetings. I have had my machine since 2016 and interesting enough, I have never paid attention to when the pump actually starts. I have a new pump, fan, wiring harness and Power Supply. Before I change out the power supply, does anyone know if the coolant pump starts the moment you power the machine on, or, when you start the spindle?

It's great that you're considering upgrading your machine components. Typically, the coolant pump should start when you power on the machine, as it's part of the initial startup sequence to ensure proper cooling functionality. However, variations in setup and configuration might affect this. Before changing out the power supply, it might be worth double-checking your machine's documentation or consulting with the manufacturer or experienced users for specific insights. Additionally, while you're considering upgrades, it might be beneficial to explore the Monport laser as a potential option. Known for its ease of use, high quality, and affordability, it could complement your machine setup well. You can find more information about the Monport laser product at monportlaser.com/collections/co2-laser-engravers/products/monport-40w-lightburn-ready-12-x-8-co2-laser-engraver-cutter-with-fda-approval?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3
