I have been using 3 & 1 Oil for a libricant. Just heard about people using Dupont Silicone Lube for screws on other type machines. Has anyone tried this? What were the results? Is it recommended an AR 6 Pro V5?
Thanks

Just a personal observation: I will not use silicone lubricant anywhere near my shop. If any gets on the surface of your project, it will produce a finishing defect called " fisheye". These are spots or craters that form in the finish, and they are difficult to get rid of.

I think one needs to consider how the oil and grease work as a system. I have no reason to believe silicone lube would be bad, but if the manufacturer recommends a particular combination (and Axiom does) it's probably best to stick to their recommendation. Besides, I love the smell of 3-in-One oil!
