Working on the Laser engraver ( Axiom 4.2W Laser Kit by JTech for AR Series) We (use it at a school) have used it many times, but the laser was starting to engrave very lightly, so we made some adjustments to try and get it to darken. Also, had issues with it burning the first part of the project such as a word, but not burning the rest, although the machine was going through the motions and the light was still going as if it was burning. Tried multiple trouble shooting items, to now have it not work at all. It will act like it is going to start the project moves a little ways then stops. No laser light, no movement after that and the controller does not work to stop/cancel - home. Nothing. We have tried creating new projects wondering if that was it, but are still not having luck. Any help is appreciated.
Side note: My background is Animal and Plant, however I enjoy the woodworking and want to train students to all trades areas. The school graduates 50-60 students per year. We use the VCarve Pro - programing system.
