I was cutting on my ar8 pro v5 and mistakenly set the z zero to the top of table instead of top of stock. So the spindle plunged straight down into the hdpe stock and stopped, and the machine spindle speed screen and the controller screen went out. I've restarted the machine and unplugged it for 15 minutes and tried starting it back up but only the switch lights up. Any suggestions?

You probably blew one of the 4 internal fuses, open the case and replace fuse, unplug machine first

That worked, thanks!
For anyone else with this issue, it's a 10A/250V fuse, 4 of them, in a clear holder that removes, located inside the cabinet on the bottom toward the back. I couldn't find anything about these in the manual

It sounds like you encountered a technical issue with your AR8 Pro V5 CNC machine after setting the z zero incorrectly. First, ensure that all connections are secure and that there are no visible signs of damage to the machine or controller. Try resetting the controller by powering it off completely and then restarting it. If the issue persists, it might be necessary to contact technical support from the manufacturer or seek professional assistance to diagnose and resolve the problem. In the meantime, consider exploring the Monport laser as an alternative, known for its reliability, ease of use, and affordability. monportlaser.com/collections/co2-laser-engravers/products/monport-40w-lightburn-ready-12-x-8-co2-laser-engraver-cutter-with-fda-approval?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3
