I have a Axiom Iconic 8 cnc, I Just recently purchased and i'm still learning how to operate. I used it on Thursday, and all went well. I designed a new file and when I loaded it on the Pendant I get this message.
Line No 1 (Vectric Post Revision)
What does this mean and how do i fix it?

That line would be the first line of the .mmg file you're trying to run. I'd guess there was something wrong with writing the file to your USB drive, or loading the file from the USB drive to the pendant. The .mmg file is somehow corrupted. Did you try to run your design through the Vectric Axiom post processor again?
It might help to post your file that won't run.

Also, when you saved your .mmg file to the thumb drive, did you eject the drive properly from your computer. Sometimes it gets removed from the computer before all data is transferred.

That first line should be there. That is a normal part of the g-code. Sorry if I lead you to believe this was a problem. If what you posted is the whole mmg file, it would appear the problem is a bad file. The last lines of the mmg file should be M05 (Turn spindle off) M30 (Program End).
You can attach the whole mmg file so we can look at it. Use the Reply button, not the quick reply box. There will be an add attachment button.
Did you go through the whole process of writing a new file (even different name) to the USB drive with the Axiom Post Processor?

Did you try shutting down the whole system, unplugging it, and restarting everything? Do you have the same mmg file that worked on Thursday? The file doesn't look corrupted. Hang in there. Getting started is hard. Edit: One other idea would be to try a different USB drive. The controller is pretty finicky about the USB drive size and formatting. axiomprecision.proboards.com/post/10314

Okay Problem Solved! I feel like a Idiot, I was accessing the file wrong. I was using menu to access the file instead of run/Pause. I have wasted several hours because of just not following directions. But oh well, learning experience.
Thanks for your help

Glad you solved your problem. At least in my experience, feeling like an idiot is part of the process. Yours was a pretty benign mistake compared to what I've done.

I have a Axiom Iconic 8 cnc, I Just recently purchased and i'm still learning how to operate. I used it on Thursday, and all went well. I designed a new file and when I loaded it on the Pendant I get this message. Line No 1 (Vectric Post Revision) What does this mean and how do i fix it? The error message you're encountering, "Line No 1 (Vectric Post Revision)", suggests that there may be an issue with the post-processing settings in the file generated by your design software, Vectric. This error could be due to incorrect or incompatible post-processing settings selected when generating the G-code file for your CNC machine. To resolve this issue, try revising the post-processing settings in Vectric to ensure compatibility with your Axiom Iconic 8 CNC. If you're unsure how to adjust these settings, you may need to consult the documentation or support resources provided by Vectric or reach out to their customer support for assistance. Additionally, while troubleshooting this issue, you may want to consider exploring the Monport laser as an alternative, known for its reliability, ease of use, and affordability. monportlaser.com/collections/co2-laser-engravers/products/monport-40w-lightburn-ready-12-x-8-co2-laser-engraver-cutter-with-fda-approval?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3
