A couple days ago, I began getting a "Spindle Error" message at the end of a part, or when aborting the job. It does not do this every time, maybe 50%, and no discernable pattern to when it happens. The spindle stops much slower than usual (coasts down rather than braking). Goes away after hitting the emergency stop and letting the box reboot.
Hey I know this is too little too late but this forum doesnt really seem that active. I went looking through the VFD manual which mine, the ProV5 AR6 has a LiteOn EVO6000. I manually changed the parameter for B1-02 from 1 to 0. Here is what that means: 2. B1-02: 0=Ramp to stop 1=Coast to stop 2=DC Braking to stop 3=Coast to stop with timer Switching from Coast to stop to Ramp to stop the spindle stops in roughly 2-4 seconds vs around 10-15. Anyway I hope this helps at least somebody who definitely got irritated by the slow spindle stop.
