Error code: "Can't tool setting without home!"

Hello to all. I just got finished putting my AR8 together. I went to set a tool to a surface with the touch off puck. But I get the error on my controler " can't tool setting without home!" I homed the machine. The only thing I did in the controller was to set it to home to X Y Z I took out the need for the "A" since I am not ready to do a complicated project yet. Does anyone have any idea on how to get past this . Any and all sugestions are welcome as i am a total noob. the only cnc i am some what familiar is my Shaper Origin. Since this is a weekend Axiom is closed and I am itching to get out there and start my journey with this CNC.

Ok I talked to Axiom this morning, on the elite machine with the Rich Auto58 controller you need to disable the A axis. He also pointed out a great tip as well. This is to make sure the homing sequence has your Z axis pulling up first so you dont crash into anything. The call was very helpful and my nerves are now calm ... So I thought I would post this update so is anyone in the future has trouble setting a tool there is a little help online for them .
