Could someone point me to the correct Nova G3 chuck for the Axiom rotary. I'm contemplating a rotary purchase and heard somewhere that this is the chuck to get. I know nothing lathes, chucks, etc. I do know a lot about my Pro8 and CNC.
I guess that this is still the best rotary for the Pro8.

I purchased this chuck long before I had my Axiom….. Nova48232
Purchased at Rockler during a Black Friday sale. I did a little looking and if I were to purchase a NOVA chuck for the rotary today, I would get this…. NOVA48287 Couple things you should look for in a chuck for the rotary…. * reversible. This gives you the ability to fix the chuck to the spindle with a grubscrew and peace of mind that the chuck will not reverse itself out. * self centering. Independently adjusted jaws would be a PIA and unnecessary. * dedicated 1” x 8tpi. Using an insert/adapter would just add another failure point. * single T-handle for loosening and tightening the chuck onto material. I would not want to use the dual rods for this purpose as no doubt steps would be lost. NOVA has quite the assortment of jaws that can be swapped on their chucks. I use this set for the rotary…. NOVA JS20N . Has a gripping range of 10mm - 20mm. I cut a 3/4” - 3/4” stub on larger stock to fit these jaws. Never had a problem (yet). I still use the Axiom rotary often and find it quite capable.
