Hello, New to Axiom now but old to CNC.
The question, is there a 3d CAD model to
use for simulation inside of (con)Fusion360?
The 274 Post appears fine upon first look.

Hi; welcome!
I'm assuming you're referring to the spindle/gantry/table model. If so, I looked for one a couple years back, but was unable to find anything. I thought about making one and submitting it, but I found it was over-complicated for my needs. I have pretty simple parts with (generally) only a couple of inches delta on the z-axis, so I'm not very worried about collisions anyway.
For the capabilities of the machine, I'm not sure if any more complex of a setup is required - but it would be nice to have, I guess.
For now, I just used the default setup and make sure my cut project fits within the known dimensions of the machine. Doing that, I haven't had any issues since I bought the machine several years ago.
