B58 controller freezes

I’ve had my AR8 elite about a month now. From time to time my B58 controller freezes and becomes unresponsive. It usually does this after I’ve loaded a fresh mmg file and press RUN. It will freeze with the little pop that follows the RUN command and precedes the spindle count down. A few times it’s done so after running a time calculation in the advanced menu.

Is there any way to reset the controller other than turning off the whole machine and re-booting? And is this a common problem that there is a fix or patch available for?

I've seen this after running the calculate work time feature.


It may be related to the firmware version...please reach out to our support team with the controller firmware version.

You can find that information by entering the MENU, be sure to select the Menu Function User Interface....the select the Version View option. (take pictures of that information or it them down as you scroll down the screen).


If an update is needed, they should be able to provide more information.
