I need to drill multiple rows of 1/4" holes in a 1/4" thick sheet of cast acrylic.
Any suggestions for drill bit and spindle speed to use?
Anything else I should be aware of to drill cleanly and successfully?

I make holes in acrylic with an end mill and a profile tool path inside the line, 1/8 bit or 3/16, 8000 rpm, feed 70 ipm and plunge 30 ipm with a spiral ramp this should make chips and not have them remelt onto material, too fast a speed will melt,

We use this same spiral ramp strategy for all materials (especially plastics and aluminum where chip melt would be a concern).
Ideally the bit should be approx 50% of the hole diameter. Otherwise, it works very well.
