Did I get a bad lemon and is this already a hardware failure and warranty case? Any help is appreciated - Thanks You forgot to add one more possibility to the this question….user error. Re question 1: This is “user error”. You inadvertently pressed “menu”+ 0 at the same time and ended up at the Machine Coordinate State. Pressing “menu” + 1 after your machine homes will put you back to the Work Coordinate State. Reference your manual for this. Re question 2: If you found the location of CAD Thickness (puck thickness) within your controller and it was set to 60 then I hope you changed that to 25. Many of us mic the puck and reset accordingly as it is not precisely 25mm thick. Also, you might want to search on this forum for further puck information. Most of us have changed the dropdown speed. Re question 3: After homing, the spindle should be in the lower left corner with the spindle raised to max height. If in one of the 9 available Work Coordinate States, then setting your origin should be no problem. Re question 4: Check that your limit switches are secure and the metal tabs that trigger the limit switches are all secure. This is a common component to tighten up after a new machine arrives. Much can be done on your end prior to calling Axiom. I suspect you will still end up talking with Service as I did the exact same thing 4 years ago. The rabbit hole is deep .
