During tool change, directly after my machine asks if the indexing button is clean, it attempts to make a macro movement along the Z-axis towards the indexing button, but instead does not move, and makes a loud noise. It then beings to make a micro movement towards the indexing button until it stops and delivers an error message. I will include a link to a video of the process and sound I am referring to: drive.google.com/file/d/1plgg5LjrLLbYOUanJgF2AK4CY6BEKTKU/view?usp=sharing You can hear the sound at the very beginning of the video, although that appears to have stopped happening since. You can see and hear the issue approximately 7 seconds into the video as it begins to lower itself towards the indexing button. I have checked the wiring on the button, and to the best of my knowledge (which admittedly is not a lot when it comes to electrical) everything seems connected fine. I tried swapping the z-axis limit switches, but this did not fix the issue either. I can manually jog the machine to the upper and lower limit switches, so there is not issue there. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Thank you all in advance for any advice.
