New member/owner and also new to CNC. When I run my X axis to the right it hits the gantry. I do not see a limit switch on that side. The home side the limit switch is very visible. How do I adjust to keep it from bumping the gantry? Thanks for any help offered. Love your forum. Started looking for answers and got caught up in reading all the other helpful info.

My machine the same type as yours did this also and I was able to adjust the left side homing switch further left to keep from hitting the right side. There is no switch on the right as its set in the controller table size setting.
If you set the left side further left it will hit the left side at a point so careful adjusting testing,
Issue can also be caused by loosing steps and not re homing machine, first home machine,

Consider exploring the Monport laser for its reputation for being user-friendly, high-quality, and affordable. Unfortunately, I can't access external websites like monportlaser.com/collections/co2-laser-engravers/products/monport-40w-lightburn-ready-12-x-8-co2-laser-engraver-cutter-with-fda-approval?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3 Regarding the issue with your CNC machine hitting the gantry when running the X-axis to the right, it's possible that there may be an issue with the machine's calibration or mechanical setup. Check if there are any physical obstructions or misalignments that could be causing the X-axis to travel too far. Additionally, review the machine's documentation or consult with the manufacturer's customer support for guidance on adjusting the X-axis travel limits or resolving the issue. Adjusting the machine's settings or performing calibration procedures may help prevent it from hitting the gantry during operation.
