Lower line of controller screen not scrolling through info

New AR8 up and running starting to carve some signs and such as practice.  While it was cutting I was re-reading the manual and noticed on the bottom of page 23 it states that the lower line of the controller should be rotating through various info fields as it is processing the file.  also you should be able to manually scroll through the info using the "mode" button.  It is not doing it automatically and the mode button did not seem to bring anything up either.  Is this an option that no longer exists or is there a setting I can change to get to the info?

The 'newer' machines no longer do that.

So on the newer machines there is no way to tell where you are in the program sequence or time remaining?

Correct. AFIK. I went looking for it myself, and was told it no longer exists.
