I ran into this a couple times. I'll run a job, it runs fine, but at the end when the spindle is raising, the machine shudders, loses the z and the spindle falls down while still spinning. I looked at the g code in a very simple program that is doing it here are the last few lines: N270G00Z6.350 N280G00Z6.350 N290M05 N300M30 % There are 2 G00Z6.350 commands in a row. If I remove one of those lines, the job completes fine. This is aspire 11.008 attachments are the crv3d file and the .mmg file it creates test.crv3d (35 KB) 38inch.mmg (839 B) I don't know if anyone has come across this or not, I'd think that the hand held controller should be able to handle the 2 lines, but they probably shouldn't be there in the first place. I don't know whose problem it is, I'll open a case with vectric.

I heard from Vectric support, here is their answer: If you set the Z home position in the material to be a different value to your Z1 value this should alleviate the issue (you can see the values are the same in the screenshot attached). It seems like my HHC doesn't like those 2 numbers to be the same, maybe newer ones work fine.
