I have an Axiom Iconic 8 with the Rich Auto B11 DSP. Will this controller accept G and M Codes to allow tool changes to be made in the middle of running a file? From what I can see in the controller the required G and M Codes are not supported in this controller but maybe I am missing something that will let this happen? The manual says the controller accepts standard G and M Codes but does not say which ones.

Well, a month later and 100 views and no solution to the question. Sometimes what is not said is just as good as what is said. As I thought (but hoping I was wrong) is that you cannot do a tool change in the middle of a file with the B11 DSP - doesnt recognize the requried M codes. With a 100 views it seems others have the same question or maybe just lurking (which I am guilty of at times). Tool changes would be a nice addition to the controller - but one can only hope.

they'll never do that, it adds a layer of unnecessary complexity.
