Etching Acrylic. This is 1/2" acrylic cut with a 120 deg diamond drag, 750 mm/min, 45 deg fill 0.1" pressure. I've had good success with this in the past but for some reason I got this issue in the upper part of both rectangles...any ideas as to why? Thank you, Tim

Is the surface not flat? Put a straight edge on it for a check. It looks like the cut got shallower.

I'm wondering if there was a defect in the surface. Did you use much spring load?

I'm wondering if there was a defect in the surface. Did you use much spring load? 0.1" for the spring load so good contact with the surface. T PS- It is possible that I need to resurface my board.

How thick was the plexi? 0.1" for spring load seems to be pretty good. If it doesn't happen again, it could be one of life's mysteries....
