This was actually a project from Wood Magazine. I wondered how hard it would be to translate from a "turner" profile to CNC - let's find out! Actually, it was cake. The base is redwood, the middle and spindle: walnut. The outer circle is "thermally stabilized" POPLAR - more on that later. I love the skeleton clock movement.

Nice work. Did you do the spindle as a double-sided job. No sir - rotary. Put the profile dimensions in a spreadsheet and ran it in reverse since the profile diameters are what's left and Aspire wants to know how deep, but it was simple enough to figure out. Learned the technique while doing the light saber project earlier (and there were a LOT more points in that one) Tim
