Hi Guys, I've got an issue with my AR6 Basic not starting and stopping the router via either g-code or the handheld manually. I've replaced the relay which was working from I found out the from start of my problem. Had my electrical buddy come over who is a former co-worker of mine who worked on servos and just about everything under a plant environment. He was my go to guy who could figure out just about everything. Now he came and traced all the wires. Everything seems to have power when it should and all systems look good. He is just wondering maybe someone on here has had an issue like this and it is just something simple like a remote wire that he is missing. He has never worked on something like this before. He's worked on servos all kinds of industrial boards, programs but he figures that it is probably something simple he's missing. The machine was working fine and I was running a bunch of different files and all of a sudden the one file wouldn't start the router. I took off the side cover where the quick disconnect fittings are located and even replaced that because I've had some issues with this vibrating loose. So if anyone out there has had an issue like this and has figured it out I would greatly appreciate the fix for it. Also I emailed Axiom last Monday as soon as it happened. "No reply." I even sent a follow-up email. No reply. I even called and talked to Brett and he couldn't give me an answer on this either. Bentley

Does the spindle turn on at all? With different program? Manually with button on pendant?
When I had a basic I pushed the router too hard with a cut, loading it and a fuse blew. Went to the auto store and got a 5 pack. Put it in and it started.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Actually it turned out to be a blown fuse after all. When we took out and inspected the fuses the filaments looked intact. My buddy came over today again and he was ready to give up. We ended up taking off the plastic covers for the easy removal and install of the fuses themselves. Put his meter on the router fuse. Presto. The fuse filament looked intact but must have been just barely connecting to the metal base. Replaced the fuse and away we go. Thing is we also found out my E-stop wasn't working. I'm going to replace it because it won't stay in place when the button on the case is pressed in. Good thing we have this platform. Someone somewhere out there has probably had something pop up and break down and someone has had the same issue and has given there solution. Thanks again for the reply. Bentley

Bentley Consider exploring the Monport laser for its reputation for being user-friendly, high-quality, and affordable. Unfortunately, I can't access external websites like monportlaser.com/collections/co2-laser-engravers/products/monport-40w-lightburn-ready-12-x-8-co2-laser-engraver-cutter-with-fda-approval?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3 Regarding the issue with your AR6 Basic CNC machine not starting or stopping the router via g-code or manually, it's essential to ensure all connections are secure and that there are no loose wires or faulty components. Since you've already checked with your electrical buddy and reached out to Axiom for support without success, it may be helpful to consult with experienced CNC users or online forums dedicated to CNC machining. They may have encountered similar issues and can offer insights or troubleshooting tips to help resolve the problem. Additionally, reviewing the machine's manual or contacting Axiom's customer support again for further assistance could be beneficial.
