New AR16 Elite owner here. (former 3 year AR8Pro owner). I seem to be having an issue setting feed rate. For a 'profile cut' job, I initially set the feed rate at 50 ipm in the Aspire software 'tool select' screen, but when running the job, it ran way faster than that. I went back to Aspire and slowed it down to 30 Ins/min feed rate in the 'tool select screen' in the Aspire software, but when I go to run the file on the Elite, it seems to be feeding way faster than that. I reset it again, to 10 ins/min, but when I run the file, it continues to run at the same faster feed rate as before. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrongly? Does the Axiom controller in some way override the feed rate in the tool path sent from Aspire and use some different (internally set) feed rate? Just to be sure, I have saved and re-saved the toolpath to the USB stick several times. I also chose a completely different file that had a feed rate of 25 ipm and it, too, ran at the faster rate. It seems like there's in internal feed rate setting being used. Is that possible? The Axiom AR16 manual does not have a section where it shows how to change that.
Here's the summary from the tool path doc Tool path: profile LG Tool path Info Time Estimate: 00:12:47 Tool path Type: 2D Profile Tool path Feed Rate: 10 inch/min Plunge Rate: 10 inch/min Spindle Speed: 18000 Tool Info Tool Name: End Mill (0.125 inch) Tool Type: End Mill Tool Number: 1 Max Cut Depth: 11mm Pass Depth: 0.125" Stepover: 0.0313

If this has not yet been resolved, please give our support team a call....
Most of the time, this would be due to a simple setting within the controller, which they can help resolve. But it would be important to make sure that no other settings are involved.
