I have an Axiom AR8 Pro V5 and I am using aspire software. My circles are a couple 64ths too small on a 1" circle. Is this by design or do you think a setting is wrong?

Are you drawing inside the line, outside, or on? Mill, laser or vcarve?

I am just selecting the circle icon and placing it on the 0,0, coord at 1 inch.

I do not know where to select line outside or on . I do not believe i am using offset. the offset on aspire was outside/left but Ii did not select that.

This is most likely related to your tooling selection and/or toolpath setup- please give our support team a call.

One other note is to check the bit you are using to cut with. Verify with dial calipers. Solid spiral bits are commonly undersized from the specification.

I changed my tool diameter to 0.492" from 0.5" and it made a near perfect 1 inch circle. which I find strange since I use a micrometer to measure the tool bit at 4.998"
