Spindle speed control with knob

I recently got the AR6 Pro V5.  The machine is great so far.   I know the only way to control the spindle speed is with the dial on the control panel.  A slow turn jumps the speed around 10 rpm, but when I turn it faster it jumps around 1000-2000 rpm.  Is this the same for everyone else?   I wonder if there is a way to adjust this.   It would be nice if the fast scroll would jump 100 rpm before it jumps 1000 rpm.

I'm not sure why you need less that 1000 rpm speed increments, it is a router not a precise milling machine, just my opinion but I cut many materials and don't see the need for the function you seem to want
