Hi Fellas,
I have been working on some vases recently and have made a cavity in a 7 inch 2x4 block. I joined the two halves and reduced the vase to 3 x 3 x 7 inches.
I have this design I want to place on it and started twice with the piece jumping off the board.
I do not make a second attempt and it does the same before checking in with my fellow Axiom-guys.
My question is how do I hold down this piece best without it moving.
My design on the piece takes up the whole face of the piece, ie 3 x 7 on all 4 sides. It is a series of curved fluting lines.
Would love your suggestions. My clamping system is some 1.5 x 4 blocks which wedge the piece on the board with a horizontal tight fit. My feeling is that I may need to increase the height of my clamps which are 1.5 inches but less than 3inches.
What do you think?
