Problem with Z zero on I2R

This is a strange one.
I'm doing a 2 sided piece and completed the one side with no issues.
When i went to the second side I tried to zero my tool with the puck and when i went to start the program it was not showing the material surface as zero and would start above the material.
I tried to zero off the material with a piece of paper and then tried to start the program but it started at the program above the material again. It looks like it saved the puck hight as a offset of sorts but i cannot fix it.
Any suggestions?

check your material setup screen in VCarve, sounds like top is set off material surface and bottom is set to spoil board, that would make the cutter to high by the material thickness
