After a while of not using the LASER, I had to make a new mounting bracket. The OEM 3D-printed bracket is quite fragile. Anyway.... I mounted it up and went through the start-up process. Upon pressing the reset button, the green LED is supposed to light and the fans are supposed to spin up on the control box and the LASER head. The problem - The issue was they didn’t. They’d only light and spin up for as long as the button was held down. The solution - The micro switch on the LASER head was not actuated with the new mount. The little lever arm on the switch was pressed in BUT not quite enough. After touching it with a pencil point, there was a tiny click and the system started working as expected.

You can add layers of masking tape to get the switch to self-actuate. During an operation, to may go into safe mode, therefore ruining your cut. Even a dot of hot glue would work, and it's removable.
