Hello everyone! I have been carving and designing Military, Police and EMS Badges for about two years now, and Chad has asked me to share my work with everyone. I just recently as of 1 July 2016 became a new owner of the AR8, I previously owned a General iCARVER, which is a great machine but I think the AR8 will be a perfect fit for me considering the work I do. I haven't gotten the machine setup yet but I will have it running later in the week, so if you have some pointers for me it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what you think of these designs. Do to the size of the pictures I will share multiple threads Tim Sheriff.zip (83.26 KB)

Those are awesome! Where did you get your vectors? A local guy sent me a vector of the local PD shoulder patch and asked me to make a plaque and this is what I came up with:

When I first started I had no idea what I was doing, I was just doing monograms. A friend of mine that got me started in this has been using corel draw for the past 30 years and started designing things for me, and then I started learning off him. He has also been using Vcarve for the past 13 years and has taught me a great deal. The best thing about him is that he only charges $20 hr and is very good ant what he does. Your plaque really looks good, you did a great job on it. I'm always searching for new ideas, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of people on here at times.
