I searched the manual, I searched here, and I google...no clue.
What does these two labels mean: MANU and SOFF? I guess I get all the other ones...
edit: somewhere I read SOFF is Spindle OFF...will test that. MANU means Manual operation? What is the other option...?

While the column to the left shows the current position (in relation to present Origin) as well as the current Origin Set...the right hand column, shows other important information.
The top line...MANU simply indicates that the controller is presently in Manual Operation mode. We generally see this as meaning that the machine is capable of being moved manually using the controller as apposed to being in the middle of a job where it will display RUN.
The next line shows SOFF indicating that the spindle is in the OFF state...or CSON here the cooling system and spindle are in the ON state.
This is helpful as a safety as the RPM used or the noise in the shop may not allow the motor to be heard.
The third line shows the current speed mode for manual jog movements...not job operations. It will display either FSP (Fast) or LSP (Slow) and can be changed using the Fast/Slow button (Blue round button on the B-series controllers...#0 on the older A-series).
In the FSP mode, each tap of the button will move an axis 0.5mm (0.020") and in the LSP mode, the machine will move roughly half the speed of the Fast mode and the steps will be 0.1m (0.004") per tap of the buttons.
*FSP and LSP is covered more in the user manual.

Thanks Chad! Yes I did find out about the spindle, and LSP/FSP like you said in the manual. Was not sure what MANU means (I saw it as well as MAUN in other controllers/setups).
