Lines in spoil board after surfacing

Hello this is my first time posting to a forum so hope I do it right.  I have recently purchased an AR8 PRO and did the initial setup and surfaced the spoil board.  Used the internal file and the Amana 1 1/2" cutter that came with the machine  When I looked at it after it is not flat there are lines running the length of the surface and it looks like the cutter is slightly skewed.  Any suggestion as to what is happening and how to fix it.  They are raised enough that you can catch them with your fingernail.  Have not tried the vacuum hold down pucks yet to see if they will have trouble.  Attached a pic to help clarify what is there.

Do a Axiom Forum search on 'align spindle'. There are a couple different alignment approaches shown. After 3 years of use with my AR8, I aligned mine recently with the Z wire approach. Works fine. Good luck.

Any updates on if you were able to fix this? I searched spindle alignment but could not find that Z wire approach, does anyone know a link for that?

It's actually a rather crude approach and may not get you to where you want to be with a larger flycutter, but this thread explains it. Basically, you do it with a bent coat hanger

I used a dial indicator on a bent rod at about a 6” extension from the spindle center.
